Saving your proposal & contract as a draft allows you to send it to your client at a later date for approval.

First step is to create your proposal , contract  or both proposal and contract and you can do this via the > Proposals & Contracts Tab > New Proposal >

Via the Create tab top right > create proposal/contract

You will then be prompted to select to create

  1. Proposal (you can attach a contract anytime via the options tab in a draft/sent proposal)
  2. Contract
  3. Proposal +  Contract
  4. You can also select to use a existing proposal/contract  as a template via the "search based on a recent document" option

Once you have created your proposal or contract you will see the review page showing your Proposal, Contract or Proposal & Contract attached.

To save the contract as a draft simply Select > the options tab top left > save

Once you have saved the proposal/contract as a draft it will then appear via your Proposals tab as a Draft.

When you select the 3 dots menu icon to the right of the saved draft, you have the option to:

  • Edit
  • Delete

To edit the proposal  > select edit
, and this will open the proposal/contract in draft mode where you can make any edits/revisions, view the preview or simply send it to your client for approval.

Deleting the contract will delete it forever and you would need to recreate it if required.

You can also simply select the proposal/contract and select the yellow edit option to make edits.
